Background and Interests

I am originally from Greers Ferry, Arkansas a small town about three hours west of Memphis and 1.5 hours north of Little Rock.  I have been married since May 2008 and my wife and I reside in the Little Italy neighborhood of Niagara Falls, New York.  In my spare time I like running, reading, live music, and economics.

Above is a picture of my finishing the Germantown Half Marathon in March 2009, my first race at that distance. 

I completed the Niagara Falls International Marathon October 21, 2012 (my first). I didn't do as well as I had aspired, but it was a definite learning experience.

I like to read fiction for the most part and always have some book going, my favorite authors are John Steinbeck, Albert Camus, Bret Ellis, Hunter S. Thompson, among numerous others.
